Standard Operating Procedure for using DTI SH85/86 Jointfiler to fill and repair cracks in concrete floors, including preparation, filling, leveling, and cure time requirements.

Application Procedure

  1. Clean the crack. Use a stiff brush to remove any debris from the crack before applying any product.
  2. Insert the joint filler. Use the Dual Cartridge Gun with SH85 Joint Fill to insert the filler into the crack.
  3. Level the filler. Level the filler so it sits flush with the surrounding concrete surface.
  4. Trim excess material. After 15 minutes, allow the material to sit, then use a trowel or shaving tool to remove any excess.
  5. Secure the area. Block off the treated area from all foot traffic for at least 3 hours to allow the product to fully cure.
